Ginny Epstein
Primarily I am inspired by the medium of wool and silk and the techniques of felt making and stitching. The focus of my work is usually the natural world although I am also influenced by my shamanic learning especially with dreams and ancestors.
At this time I have been working on the light theme of flowers and fantasy flowers delighting in exploring vibrant colours and simple stitch.
I joined SWTG to meet other textile artists and to exhibit my work. It is a thoughtful group and I find new ideas and influences through sharing our work and ideas.
