Having completed my City & Guilds and Diploma in Stitched Textiles I was anxious to share ideas with other artists. The South West Textile Group has really been great. It is useful to have feedback and regular exhibiting gives me focus.
I enjoy experimenting with different ideas and have produced a wide variety of work. The common feature is an emphasis on humour and storytelling. I'm currently producing some 3D insects in bright colours for our next exhibition. It's quite addictive!
