Shirley Paske

I have been a member of Southwest Textiles Group for around 20 years. When I first joined. I was fairly new to the world of art and making and one of the things I loved about the group was it supportive nature. Group members have always shown such an interest in each other’s work and the emphasis in the group has always been on helping and encouraging other members.

My primary interest has always been textiles but I have also worked with metal and enamel and I’m enjoying experimenting with paper at the moment. ‘What if I ?’ always motivates me. I love trying things out and not quite knowing what will happen.
